Veneers Weston

Cover All of Your Smile’s Imperfections at Once

Blonde woman smiling with flawless white teeth thanks to dental veneers in Weston

Smile wider with dental veneers. These thin dental laminates are placed on the front of your teeth. We will color match your veneer for the most flawless results. Our cosmetic dentists at Weston Dental Specialists Group can use dental veneers to correct various dental issues like stained, chipped, worn, and misshapen teeth. Veneers can also be used to close spaces between teeth.

Dental veneers can be either composite resin material or porcelain. Regardless of which material you choose, your set will be custom made to fit your tooth and appear natural. Composite resin is tooth-colored filling material, which is bonded to your tooth. Normally, some of the tooth enamel is removed but composite veneers do not require as much. They typically cost less than porcelain and are easier to fix. However, they are not as strong as porcelain. On the other hand, porcelain veneers are stronger, appear more natural, and are more stain-resistant than composite material.

Before deciding on veneers, keep the following information in mind:

  • Teeth and gums must be healthy.
  • If you clench or grind your teeth, veneers may not be ideal. They can break. A mouth guard may be recommended, depending on the severity.
  • You will lose tooth enamel, which is not reversible.
  • Veneers may need replacement in the future.

How should I take care of my dental veneers?

They may feel odd at first. You will soon get used to them. However, if your bite feels off, inform us. It can be corrected. Be gentle. Veneers can get damaged from chewing or biting too hard. Also, continue to brush, floss, and rinse as recommended. Although the veneers cover teeth, cavities, decay, and gum disease are still a possibility.
